David Whyte announced as new partner at Harris Hagan

Gambling Commission veteran David Whyte has been announced as a new partner at the City of London law firm Harris Hagan.  

After serving for nine years at the Gambling Commission， both in the enforcement and legal departments， Whyte joined the law firm five years ago in 2019. Over the past five years， he has utilised both his operational and practical knowledge of the gambling industry's regulatory framework to good effect at the London-based firm.  

Harris Hagan provides legal services to all sectors of the gambling and leisure industries， both internationally and in the UK. Founded by Julian Harris and John Hagan in 2004， the firm extends its business into gambling law， compliance and regulation – acting as an advisor to both land-based and online gambling businesses. 

Credited by Harris Hagen with assisting the firm through some of the most significant cases in the recent history of the UK gambling industry，Play Casino Online Whyte will now hope to put his portfolio of experience to further use as a new partner.  

His contributions and new appointment have been commented on by a Legal Director at the firm， who stated that Whyte: “Not only (brings) technical excellence to the firm but， importantly， an excellent understanding of the regulatory environment. Harris Hagan has also previously run its own regulatory campaigns， hosting a ‘Keeping Crime out of Gambling’ event back in 2019.
